Fabrication-Driven Digital Modeling
Barclays Center
The Barclays Center’s weathered steel envelope wraps the arena massing in a continuous, faceted skin defined by non-standard geometry.
As a VDC engineer, Julie contributed to the development of parametric CATIA models used to generate fabrication data for the structural support systems behind the cladding. Custom workflows and user-defined templates produced models, drawings, and material outputs for procurement and installation.
Fabrication documentation was generated directly from the architectural design model, integrating geometry, structure, and constructability at scale.
