Custom Architectural Millwork

5 Camden Street Reception

A custom reception desk defining the entry to an architectural office within an existing building. The project required two reception stations and a curved front condition shaping the threshold into the workspace.

Fabricated in Corian using custom-built formwork, the desk was constructed in three large off-site sections and fused seamlessly on site. The curved geometry was defined through precise shaping of voids and formwork assemblies.

The element integrates dual workstations, a raised transaction surface, radiator ventilation slots, and concealed storage - all fitted within existing spatial constraints.

The work approached millwork as spatial form, shaped through material logic and assembly.
